CNJC (2017)
The CNJC Collection represents a profound moment of transition and cultural connection, born from my journey between France and Japan. As the youngest finalist of the prestigious Concours National Jeune Créateur (Young Designer National Contest) in Paris that year, this collection marked a pivotal stage in my design career—one that celebrated the merging of two worlds and the fluidity of identity.
This collection draws its essence from the contrasts and harmonies of my experiences in France and Japan, where the richness of tradition intersects with modern perspectives. The designs emerged instinctively, reflecting my creative process at the time—a raw and spontaneous expression of living between two cultures.
A unique element of this collection was the deep consideration for individuality. After selecting the models who would bring these designs to life, I revisited certain pieces to align with their personalities and body shapes. This approach not only honored the wearers but also reinforced my belief that fashion should adapt to the individual, celebrating diversity and authenticity.
The CNJC Collection encapsulates a journey of exploration, transformation, and cultural dialogue. It is a testament to the power of creativity to transcend borders and tell a story that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.
