6 years old. I was 6 years old when I discovered my passion for fashion. I remember so many titles that sounded promising: “5 fashion tips for…” “The 10 best fashion advices…” And let’s be honest, the situation is no different today.

Every year, it’s the same story. Spring arrives, and fashion magazines and blogs revive the same eternal debate: pastel vs. bold. Are we surprised? Not really. The conversation comes back like clockwork, with only one variable changing: the colors officially crowned by the season. Some years, pastel takes the lead. Other years, bold dominates. And sometimes, we are told to embrace both, as long as they align perfectly with the trend forecast.

“Quiet luxury” is overused, misunderstood, and dangerously close to becoming a cliché. Flattened into beige moodboards and TikTok capsules wardrobes (which most of the time have more to do with fast fashion than luxury), it’s often reduced to an aesthetic.

So why am I writing about trends, then? Because having a personal style and being authentic doesn’t mean to be close-minded and reject everything we see. Because sometimes, what’s trending can surprise you.Sometimes it brings options you’ve been dreaming of. Sometimes it opens a door you didn’t even know was closed.
